1. Bust: Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.

2. Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, keep the tape a little loose.

3. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your body, at the top of your leg.

4. SCOTTeMASK Measure around your head, across the bridge of your nose.
Return & Exchange Information
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept the merchandise for return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order provided it is in new condition, it has not been washed, worn or altered and the hangtags are still attached. Additional Sizing Information
  • Measurements are key. Please take the time to measure rather than ordering what size you think you are.
  • Real Sizes are for real people. While many brands have switched to Vanity Sizing, we have tried to keep our sizing consistent over the 20+ years we’ve been in business.
  • Marilyn (“M”) Sizes are for our curvier customers. M1 is equal to XXL, M2 is equal to 3XL, M3 is equal to 4XL and M4 is equal to 5XL.

The Penny Coat is back and better than ever! One of our most popular styles, The Penny came about when we needed to solve a problem. We didn't have a coat we could wear out to dinner when the weather was cold and we were wearing something dressier than jeans. A parka just wasn't doing the trick when paired with a nice pair of slacks. After much-brainstorming, this 19 pocket wonder was born! And, since we loved it so much, we named it after Laura's childhood dog, Penny Poodle. Style, convenience, hidden pockets! This women's coat has it all.

We process and ship orders very quickly. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 11am Mountain Time will ship the same day. Orders placed after 11am Mountain Time will ship the following business day.

During the holidays, expect 1-3 day delays for ground shipping. We will do our best to ship orders with expedited shipping on our usual schedule.

Returns/Exchanges

We offer a 30 day return/exchange policy. All returns must be unwashed/unaltered and in new condition with tags still attached.

Outlet items, Final Sale items, Gift Boxes and Underwear removed from packaging cannot be returned. If your cart contains any All Sales Final items, you will be notified in checkout prior to completing your order.

Returns/Exchange Policy Details

Domestic Shipments

We ship orders via UPS. Ground shipping is free for orders over $200 and $8 for orders under $200. We offer UPS expedited shipping with our discounted real time rates to your address. UPS Next Day Air orders shipped on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Saturday delivery is available for some addresses at an additional cost. If you would like Saturday delivery, please contact our Customer Service Team.


International Shipments

We ship international orders via UPS and the US Postal Service. Click the flag icon for detailed information about shipping to your country. International shipping costs are determined by the shipper and are based on the shipping address and weight of the package. For US Postal Service (USPS) shipments, the shipment will be transferred to your local postal service when it reaches your country. To determine shipping and related costs before placing an order, enter the products you wish to order in your cart and begin the checkout process (you do not need to complete the order to see this information).

Please note: International shipping costs do NOT include duties, tariffs or related brokerage fees. You will need to pay any duties/taxes upon delivery. You can contact your local customs office for an estimate of these fees. SCOTTeVEST will not refund costs for items purchased or shipping charges if a customer refuses to pay these fees.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept the merchandise for return or exchange provided:

  • It is in new condition
  • It has not been washed, worn or altered
  • Hangtags are still attached
  • An RMA number is included with the merchandise (Click here to obtain RMA number)
  • It is returned according to the schedule below

For returns, you are responsible for paying the shipping to return the item(s) to our warehouse. For exchanges, you are responsible for paying the shipping to get the original garment sent to our warehouse and we will pay the ground shipping cost to send the exchange to you for domestic orders. For international orders, you will be responsible for the return shipping on your exchange as well as the shipment cost for the exchanged item.

    Almost perfect coat...

    I got the medium sized even though I am pretty petite because I wanted to wear several layers inside so didn't want it snug. Excellent quality. Even the inside lining is so high class and nice. Wore it to my Europe trip and even to work in the colder months. Love not having to bring a purse. The largest inside pocket fit my Mini iPad perfectly, but would have been perfect if the zipper was the kind where you can open the bottom zipper to be able to walk up stairs and if have a tablet in the pocket to be able to sit down without the tablet getting in the way (reason I docked off a star).

    Slimming Coat

    After helpful Customer Support, I decided to try the Penny Coat when a size exchange on an EDC was no longer available. I found the Penny coat comfortable and usefulness in size large, has adequate pocket uses for what I need to carry and is large enough to wear warm clothing underneath. I’m quite short waisted but the coat seems not to care, even when zipped it is quite slimming. The extra large would have been overwhelming for shoulders and all. I did shorten the sleeve linings and simply turn under the coat sleeves. My advice: if you’re in-between sizes ask for excellent customer service.

    Warm and Very, Very Functional

    The Penny Coat is all it’s cracked up to be. Plenty of pockets for carrying my travel items securely. A good deterrent for pick pockets. My only wish is that the jacket had a two-way zipper.

    Perfection!

    I love my new Penny Coat! Last few weeks here in Maryland have been bitter cold, and I was very comfortable wearing it.

    I've left behind my purse, because everything I need fits in the pockets! It does get a bit heavy once you add more stuff, and sitting in the car (driver's side) is a bit tough trying to put your seat belt on.

    But it's a really nice looking coat, and I'm happy I bought it--I wore it to see the Peace Monks at the National Cathedral last week.
