How To Measure

1. Neck: Measure around your neck at the bottom of your Adam’s Apple. Add ½” to the measurement for comfort.

2. Chest: Measure just under your arms and across your shoulder blades at the fullest part of the chest, with the tape level.

3. Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, holding the tape level.  

4. Inseam: Measure a pair of pants that fit you well. Lay them flat and measure the inseam from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.

5. SCOTTeMASK: Measure around your head, across the bridge of your nose.

Return & Exchange Information
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept the merchandise for return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order provided it is in new condition, it has not been washed, worn or altered and the hangtags are still attached. Please refer to this page for more information.
Additional Top Sizing Information
  • Tall Sizes are 2 inches (5 centimeters) longer in the body and 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) longer in the sleeves.
  • Sport Coat Sizes are based on your chest measurement in inches. Long sizes will be 2 inches longer in the body length and 1 inch longer in the sleeve length.
Additional Pant Sizing Information
  • Pants are mostly sized waist/inseam in inches, so a size 34/30 is a 34” waist and 30” inseam.
  • Shorts are sized by waist in inches, so a size 34 is a 34” waist.
  • Joggers (and Pajama Pants) use Small-XXL waist sizes with the inseam in inches. For example, size L30 is a waist size Large and a 30” inseam.
Additional Accessories Information

The LightEST Vest for Men is the 2025 update to the lightest weight vest we had ever made, the Featherweight Vest introduced in 2015.  We know how much you love the Featherweight, so we kept the best parts - exceptionally lightweight fabric and secure pockets! 

The LightEST Vest fabric is super soft and light as a feather!  With 16 thoughtfully designed and ergonomically placed pockets, you'll have easy access to all your essentials.  Both exterior chest pockets have hidden gems!  One has a cell phone pocket-in-pocket and the other an eyeglass/sunglass pocket-in-pocket with attached chamois.  The new back pocket has access zippers on both right and left sides.  The RFID pocket is now built-in, removing bulk and streamlining the fit.   The 16 pockets are designed to accommodate modern devices, as well as your favorite features like the detachable key holder.  We know you'll love our latest and lightEST!

We process and ship orders very quickly. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 11am Mountain Time will ship the same day. Orders placed after 11am Mountain Time will ship the following business day.

During the holidays, expect 1-3 day delays for ground shipping. We will do our best to ship orders with expedited shipping on our usual schedule.

Returns/Exchanges

We offer a 30 day return/exchange policy. All returns must be unwashed/unaltered and in new condition with tags still attached.

Outlet items, Final Sale items, Gift Boxes and Underwear removed from packaging cannot be returned. If your cart contains any All Sales Final items, you will be notified in checkout prior to completing your order.

Returns/Exchange Policy Details

Domestic Shipments

We ship orders via UPS. Ground shipping is free for orders over $200 and $8 for orders under $200. We offer UPS expedited shipping with our discounted real time rates to your address. UPS Next Day Air orders shipped on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Saturday delivery is available for some addresses at an additional cost. If you would like Saturday delivery, please contact our Customer Service Team.


International Shipments

We ship international orders via UPS and the US Postal Service. Click the flag icon for detailed information about shipping to your country. International shipping costs are determined by the shipper and are based on the shipping address and weight of the package. For US Postal Service (USPS) shipments, the shipment will be transferred to your local postal service when it reaches your country. To determine shipping and related costs before placing an order, enter the products you wish to order in your cart and begin the checkout process (you do not need to complete the order to see this information).

Please note: International shipping costs do NOT include duties, tariffs or related brokerage fees. You will need to pay any duties/taxes upon delivery. You can contact your local customs office for an estimate of these fees. SCOTTeVEST will not refund costs for items purchased or shipping charges if a customer refuses to pay these fees.

For returns, you are responsible for paying the shipping to return the item(s) to our warehouse. For exchanges, you are responsible for paying the shipping to get the original garment sent to our warehouse and we will pay the ground shipping cost to send the exchange to you for domestic orders. For international orders, you will be responsible for the return shipping on your exchange as well as the shipment cost for the exchanged item.

    Pockets, pockets everywhere!

    As a very satisfied owner of two vests -- one for cooler weather, one for warmer weather -- I speak from seasons of experience when I say candidly that I wish I'd come across SCOTTeVEST products long ago, when I was traveling the globe regularly.

    Nevertheless, while my travels are now occasional, my vests serve me just as well on the home front. The vests are so well-designed that my only issue with them is that I too often forget which of the many pockets I put this or that in.

    A very good problem to have, I've learned.

    Nice color and quality

    I bought the men's vest because I liked this color far more than what was offered in the women's vests. They need to improve the color selections for women's vests. The men's vest ran a little larger but that's fine with me. I just got it so haven't used it much.

    Everyday vest

    I just bought my husband another LightEST vest. He wears this vest everyday. It washes beautifully. He has 2 black, 1 beige and 1 blue LightEST vest. He has an insulated vest and the jacket with removable sleeves. He also has a blue plaid short sleeve shirt. We are a big fan of SCOTTeVest.
