2. Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, keep the tape a little loose.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept the merchandise for return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order provided it is in new condition, it has not been washed, worn or altered and the hangtags are still attached.   • Measurements are key. Please take the time to measure rather than ordering what size you think you are.
  • Real Sizes are for real people. While many brands have switched to Vanity Sizing, we have tried to keep our sizing consistent over the 20+ years we’ve been in business.
  • Marilyn (“M”) Sizes are for our curvier customers. M1 is equal to XXL, M2 is equal to 3XL, M3 is equal to 4XL and M4 is equal to 5XL.

We process and ship orders very quickly. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 11am Mountain Time will ship the same day. Orders placed after 11am Mountain Time will ship the following business day.

During the holidays, expect 1-3 day delays for ground shipping. We will do our best to ship orders with expedited shipping on our usual schedule.

Returns/Exchanges

We offer a 30 day return/exchange policy. All returns must be unwashed/unaltered and in new condition with tags still attached.

Outlet items, Final Sale items, Gift Boxes and Underwear removed from packaging cannot be returned. If your cart contains any All Sales Final items, you will be notified in checkout prior to completing your order.

Returns/Exchange Policy Details

Domestic Shipments

We ship orders via UPS. Ground shipping is free for orders over $200 and $8 for orders under $200. We offer UPS expedited shipping with our discounted real time rates to your address. UPS Next Day Air orders shipped on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Saturday delivery is available for some addresses at an additional cost. If you would like Saturday delivery, please contact our Customer Service Team.


International Shipments

We ship international orders via UPS and the US Postal Service. Click the flag icon for detailed information about shipping to your country. International shipping costs are determined by the shipper and are based on the shipping address and weight of the package. For US Postal Service (USPS) shipments, the shipment will be transferred to your local postal service when it reaches your country. To determine shipping and related costs before placing an order, enter the products you wish to order in your cart and begin the checkout process (you do not need to complete the order to see this information).

Please note: International shipping costs do NOT include duties, tariffs or related brokerage fees. You will need to pay any duties/taxes upon delivery. You can contact your local customs office for an estimate of these fees. SCOTTeVEST will not refund costs for items purchased or shipping charges if a customer refuses to pay these fees.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept the merchandise for return or exchange provided:

  • It is in new condition
  • It has not been washed, worn or altered
  • Hangtags are still attached
  • An RMA number is included with the merchandise (Click here to obtain RMA number)
  • It is returned according to the schedule below

For returns, you are responsible for paying the shipping to return the item(s) to our warehouse. For exchanges, you are responsible for paying the shipping to get the original garment sent to our warehouse and we will pay the ground shipping cost to send the exchange to you for domestic orders. For international orders, you will be responsible for the return shipping on your exchange as well as the shipment cost for the exchanged item.

    Perfect for my travels

    Not the most fashionable but boy are these functional. First I ordered the Best travel vest in size large color black. I’m 5’4” and weigh 132#. My normal size is medium or size 8 but I stuffed this vest and was able to fly with just a personal item and my vest for a 5 day trip ( I’m an over packer ). I also used it on a trip to Scotland and Ireland. I had everything I needed on the plane and didn’t need to be digging in my personal or carry on bag during the long haul flight. The rfid pocket was great for my passport and credit cards. Never carried a purse it was fantastic. I did purchase a medium lightweight vest in cream for less bulk and lighter travel and the fit is much nicer although I won’t be using the same way. More for around town under my jacket so I won’t need a purse. I love the chest pockets for my phone. I feel very secure with my belongings so tucked away and close to my heart. I carried rain gear lipstick meds and anything I needed was with me and secure. Hands free is the way to go. Love my scottevests. The photos are large black and medium cream.

    So strange not to be dragging a shoulder bag or crossbody bag!

    This has to be the best travel vest for women! It is so strange not to be dragging a shoulder or crossbody bag which ends up dispersing the weight to one shoulder or another. After having both shoulders replaced - I quit! No longer! After my inital purchase arrived, Scott e Vest online chat helped me return and reorder! Although my 2nd and downsized vest's fit was not perfect, I had minimal alterations done to make it as near perfect as it gets. My photo reflects a 'loaded' vest covering multiple layers while touring the Masurian Lake District in Northern Poland in October! I look forward to ordering the lightweight style for upcoming warmer climate 2026 travels.

    Pockets Everwhere

    I love the Best Vest for Women, but it was too heavy and too bulky for me. It also wouldn’t work for the climates we travel to. It was hard to return it because it was so well-made and had so many pockets. But it really had way more pockets than I needed. So I decided to exchange it for the Lightest Vest which is surprisingly just as well-made with enough pockets and much, much lighter which is more comfortable to wear and better for milder weather. I just wish the company would provide return shipping for a fee that would be cheaper. It was quite expensive to return it on my own.
