As an avid sailor, I’m always looking for ways to keep cool, dry, and have all my gadgets handy. Even on a day-sail, I always carry a compass, cell phone, wind speed indicator, chart, and water and ScotteVest can handle it all. If I’m out for an early morning cruise, the long-sleeve “vest” makes the perfect windbreaker. As it warms up, off come the arms and my stuff is still at hand were and when I need it.

The quality of the eVEST is exceptional, especially the way it fits with all pockets filled--there is no sagging, pulling or lopsidedness on either side.

A shot of me learning to plough a field the traditional way at an organic farm in Shivpuri, south-east of Mumbai, India. I am wearing the Women's Essential Travel Jacket, sans sleeves. It was perfect for Shivpuri's dry winter as 6am mornings (for yoga) were under 20C and afternoons can be quite warm (just over 30C). The pockets of my SEV were loaded with everything from bug repellent to a torch, a buff scarf to hat, sunglasses and a pocket camera, besides a few other travel essentials.
