What is your guarantee?

SeV guarantees all merchandise to be free from defects for 2 years from date of purchase- we stand by our products. Please contact us at sales@scottevest.com if you have a problem with one of our garments and we will repair or replace it at our option. See the video for a full explanation.

Within two years of the purchase date, SeV will either repair or replace your SCOTTEVEST at no cost to you (including shipping). For example, if your zipper fails we will either repair or replace your product free of charge. The exchange process is very simple. However, please know that garments are made by hand and are not intended to withstand extraordinary wear and tear. While we have a very liberal return policy, things like cuts or tears in the material that indicate misuse are not covered by the warranty.

What is your Return/Exchange Policy?

We accept exchanges and returns for 30 days** from the original purchase date for non-defective items (i.e. size or color exchanges). Items must be unworn with hangtags attached. ** We will extend the 30 day period for holiday gifts. We ask that you make arrangements for an rma # for holiday gift returns or exchanges by January 6, 2012.

You will need to contact us to arrange an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization). We use this number to identify your package when we receive it at our warehouse. The best way to do this is to email sales@scottevest.com and let us know what you are returning and whether you would like anything in exchange. If you don't have access to email, you can call our toll free number 1.866-909-8378. There will be detailed instructions on the back of your packing slip, along with a form to include with your shipment and an address label.

You can use any shipping method you would like to send things back to us, however, we recommend that you use a shipping provider that offers tracking capabilities, since we cannot take responsibility for return shipments that we do not receive. The shipping costs for the return will be your responsibility except in the case of exchanges for defective items.

* Garments purchased as Closeouts or during special events/sales where we indicated "All Sales Final-No Returns or Exchanges" cannot be returned.

PLEASE NOTE: Returns/exchanges CANNOT be accepted without an RMA #. If you send a return without an RMA # the package will be automatically rejected. This is a requirement, not a matter of policy, so please get your RMA # first by emailing us at sales@scottevest.com

3. Where do I send my Return/Exchange?
The RMA form on the back of your packing slip has an address label you can use. All returns/exchanges should be sent (with the RMA # on the exterior of the package) and RMA form inside to:

4. When will you send my exchange? When will I get credit for my return?
Please note that exchanges will not be sent out until we've received the item back from your original order. Additional charges for shipping the exchange will be charged to the credit card from the original purchase, as will any fees for additional items or more expensive items. Any credit due after an exchange will be refunded to the credit card used for the original purchase.

For returns, we will issue a refund to the credit card used for the purchase for the amount you paid for the garment.

Shipping fees are not refundable.

We process returns and exchanges 2-3 times per week, so depending on when we receive it, your return/exchange will be processed within a few business days. Additionally, most credit card companies take 2-3 business days to post a transaction, so it could take a week after receipt of your return before you see the refund on your credit card.
