At SCOTTeVEST, we are dedicated to sharing our success with many different charities in our local community of Sun Valley, Idaho. Co-founders Laura and Scott Jordan contribute sizable donations to The Animal Shelter of the Wood River Valley and The Hunger Coalition. They also run an annual event to support Paws for Hunger, a partnership between those charities that provides pet food to families who are unable to afford it. As the parents of four standard poodles, Laura and Scott are proud to support this program because it addresses two causes that mean a lot to them — hunger and animals.
In addition to their contributions, SCOTTeVEST as a company supports various causes through our No Baggage Challenge and other projects. The No Baggage Challenge has supported The Haiti Plunge, Students for a Free Tibet, Best Friends Animal Society and more. Contestants for the No Baggage Challenge embark on a journey with no bags, just a fully loaded SCOTTeVEST. As a company, we make a donation to their selected charity, bringing awareness and creating a visible platform to encourage fans to contribute to a good cause.
Supporting our veterans is another cause close to our heart. SCOTTeVEST has worked with Higher Ground Sun Valley's adaptive sports program and provided monetary and product donations to help get wounded warriors active again (pictured above).
Scott has also taken the Ice Bucket Challenge to support The ALS Association, ran a 20% off sale with a portion of proceeds donated to The ALS Association and made a public call to action for other companies to do the same using the hashtag #soakyourceo.
SCOTTeVEST is dedicated to supporting charitable organizations around the world and we encourage employees and customers to host events that support charities close to their heart. We will continue to lead the way for corporations to give back to society in meaningful ways, so keep an eye out for our next event, or give us suggestions for causes in need of support by emailing [email protected].
