What we say: Well, first things first: remove all your devices from the SCOTTeVEST. (Sure, it may seem obvious, like not staring into the sun. But that doesn't stop people, does it?) 2.5 cannot be dry-cleaned, as it will ruin the fabric. So that leaves machine washing. Go to your Maytag and follow these instructions: machine wash cold with like colors; delicate cycle; no bleach; tumble dry on low heat; cool iron if necessary; do not steam press. "I bought a Version 2.5, but the main zipper pull broke. Can this be replaced?"

Yes. A few people have reported that the SCOTTeVEST rubber pull tab on the main zipper broke. We immediately reported this to our factory in Korea (South Korea that is), and they promptly sent us replacement zipper pulls, which are very easy to install. Please e-mail us if you need a new zipper pull.

"I hope your vest is truly an all weather vest. I travel a lot and mostly in warm weather regions and carry a lot of gadgets and a vest with a lot of ventilation surely is a big help."
