Employee of the Month

Ok, so that's not really a picture of rob, but it is the stuffed animal he sleeps with each night... Kelly's tantrums (see story above) have opened the door for someone new to wrestle the SCOTTeVEST Employee of the Month title from her. Meet Rob Blackstien [Editor's Note: the photo was taken prior to a recent operation Mr. Blackstien underwent; his nose is much smaller now]. The alleged brains behind this very newsletter, Rob, in a former life was a journalist for the now defunct publication Channel Business. While still at CBiz he got to know Scott. He somehow wound up on Scott's media list and kept receiving these annoying press releases. One day he decided to take SeV up on its offer of a media sample of the Vest. Several months later, Rob was on deadline to write a column. Looking around his office for inspiration, his eyes came to rest on the shiny new SCOTTeVEST, buried in one of his infamous piles... And so it was that the course of history was changed forever. Rob wrote his column about the SeV; Scott loved it and used it (without permission) in an issue of TEC News; the two struck up a friendship and when Rob decided the time was right to parachute out of CBiz before it sank, Scott asked him if he'd like to take on this project. Now, Rob is the token Canadian on Scott's team. "Why aren't there any good donut shops around here?" he is fond of asking.
